We have heard time and time again that we are the best place in town to bring friends, clients, family and visitors that you want to impress and have a good time with. In 1992 Carmen & Mary Albis opened Sopraffino's a fine dining restaurant that served Italian cuisine. With their two boys, Antoine and Julian quickly learning the business they created the Thirsty Monk in 1996. The Thirsty Monk provided excellent service, exceptional food and showcased some of the best beers in the world. In 2008 the family decided to merge the two restaurants into a new concept that would grow with the times. The "Thirsty Monk Gastro Pub" is a restaurant that not only uses the finest ingredients in their food but also has their guests feeling like family.

The Thirsty Monk continually supports local charity events throughout the year raising and donating to many fundamental charities in the community. It is our honor to be able to give back to the community which has supported us throughout the years.
The Thirsty Monk offers the perfect location for private parties, meetings and more. Whether you are celebrating an anniversary, retirement, birthday, wedding, rehearsal dinner, attending an event at the general motors center or hosting an important business meeting; we have the facilities to meet your needs.
